Saint’s Biography
Saint Andrew of Troas was jailed for refusing to sacrifice to pagan idols during the persecutions of Decius. After one night in jail, a mob stirred up by the priests of Diana demanded that he and Saint Paul be delivered to them. The two were dragged out of town and executed.
