Blessed Giles of Saumur Biography
Blessed Giles of Saumur was minister to King Saint Louis IX. He accompanied the king on Crusade. Giles ordained Bishop of Damietta, Egypt in 1243 and Archbishop of Tyre, Lebanon in 1245.
Death
He died in 1266 at Dinant, Belgium of natural causes.
