Biography
Blessed Humbert of Romans, schooled in Paris, France. Specialist of common law. Joined the Dominicans in 1224. Explorer to the Holy Lands. Commonplace of the Dominican Roman area in 1240. Dominican commonplace of France in 1244. Fifth ace general of the Dominicans in 1254. Shaped and supported a few effective remote missions, upheld the training of Dominicans, and endorsed the last modification of the Dominican Liturgy. He ventured down from his situation in 1263, and resigned to the monastery of Valence, France. Came quickly out of isolation in line with Pope Clement IV to settle a question among individuals from the Cistercians.
