Biography
Blessed Iuliana Gim Yeon-i was a martyr during the apostolic vicariate of Korea. She was a laywoman and a Christian convert. Among eight others killed for their faith in the persecutions of Korea. Born sometime in the 8th century in South Korea. Died on July 2, 1801, at the Small West Gate, Seoul, South Korea. Beatified by Pope Francis on August 15, 2014. Her memorial is celebrated on July 2. Though there is also one on September 20, for being one of the Korean martyrs.
