Bl Jan Eugeniusz Bajewski was born on January 17, 1915, in Vilnius, Lithuania. Eugeniusz Bajewski was a member of the Franciscan Conventuals, taking the name Antonin. Ordained a priest. He worked together Saint Maximilian Kolbe to spread the gospel and help the poor. Antonin Bajewski was arrested and executed by the Nazis for the crime of being a Catholic priest. The Nazi nicknamed him prisoner 12764.

He died on May 8, 1941, in the Oswiecim (Auschwitz) death camp, Malopolskie, occupied Poland.
