Blessed John Soreth, a Carmelite. Studied in Paris, France. Doctor of Theology in 1438. General Prior to his Order from 1451 to 1471. Wrote a famous commentary on the Law. 1462 new constitutions issued. We have endeavored to return his command to his earliest notice and to admit monasteries. Spiritual leader of Blessed Frances d'Amboise.
