Blessed’s Biography
Blessed Michele Rua June 9, 1837. He was the youngest of nine students with the De La Salle Brothers. Michele Rua attended a Don Bosco Oratory and met Saint John and was impressed by him give him a future saint sent Michele to college. In 1860, after completing the seminary, he became the first priest raised by Jan Bosko. He accompanied him for the rest of his life. After his death, he became the superior general of a newly formed a congregation of Salesian priests.
