Bl. Theobald of Narbonne Biography
Bl. Theobald of Narbonne was a Mercedarian minister. Worked with Saint Ferdinand of Portalegre. In 1253 the two cruised from Barcelona, Spain to Tunis in North Africa to deliver Christians detained and oppressed for their confidence by Muslims. By 16 October 1253 they had free 129 however were betrayed by a portion of the slave brokers and went over to Muslim imperial specialists. Ferdinand was in the end discharged and requested to leave the nation with his recovered slaves, however, Theobald was tormented and executed.
