Biography
Bl. Vicente Vilar David was the youngest of the eight siblings. He was educated by the Piarists and then started studying engineering in Valencia, Spain. Vicente got married to Isabel Rodes Reig the main witness to his life and martyrdom. He spread a Christian outlook and morals among his friends and was known for charity for the poor.
He worked as an industrial engineer in their family ceramics firm while holding some important municipal posts in the municipal. Vicente was also involved in Parish activities and Catholic youth groups. He was totally against the anti-religious sentiments of the 1930s and worked to saved persecuted priests and Christians. He was take taken for murder because of his faith.
