Biography
Blessed Augustin-Joseph Desgardin, a Trappist monk. Detained on an old ship during the counter Catholic overabundances of the French Revolution. He invested his energy there thinking about wiped out individual detainees. One of the Martyrs of the Hulks of Rochefort. Kicked the bucket 6 July 1794 of ailment and abuse on board the jail transport Deux-Associés, in Rochefort, Charente-Maritime, France.
