Saint Godfried van Duynen, Parish priest in the see of Utrecht, Netherlands. Minister of a school in Paris, France. Martyred by Calvinists for “papism” and his confidence in the Real Presence in the Eucharist. One of the Martyrs of Gorkum. Nineteen saints murdered by Calvinists for devotion to the Pope and for their confidence in the Real Presence in the Eucharist. Died on July 9, 1572 in Brielle, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands.
