Saint’s Biography
Saint Isidore the Egyptian was a desert hermit and priest in charge of pilgrims Hospice in Alexandria. He opposed Arianism and supported Saint Athanasius. For this he was persecuted by Arians. Friend of Saint John Chrysostom.
