St. Lucius of Adrianople Biography
St. Lucius of Adrianople was the Bishop of Adrianople who spoke courageously against Arianism at the Council of Sardica in 343 AD. The move against orthodox Catholics was strong that Constantius, the Arian emperor agreed that Lucius was under the protection of the pope before the bishop returned from the council.
Unfortunately, he and many other Christians were murdered by Arians.
