Saint Miniato of Florence Biography
Saint Miniato of Florence was also known as Minias. He was a soldier, though he is often depicted as a military prince. He evangelized among his fellow troops when stationed in Florence, Italy. He was killed in the persecutions of Decius. An abbey outside the Florence city walls is named for him.
