Biography
Saint Raymond of Toulouse was a cantor and canon at Saint Sernin church in Toulouse, France. He was known for his austere lifestyle, his charity, and generosity towards the poor and his good relationship with the local Jewish community.
entered religious life after the passing of his better half. He turned it to a group of St. Sernin, Toulouse, modifying the congregation, later turned into a prominent spot for travelers.
After his demise on 3 July 1118, numerous supernatural occurrences were accounted for at his tomb and he was beatified in 1652 by Pope Innocent X.
