Saint’s Biography
Saint Senorina of Basto was born to a respectfully family and related to Saint Rudesind of Mondoñedo. Senorina was raised by her aunt Blessed Godina. Senorina became an abbess of the house her father had founded in Portugal.
Death
She died in 982 AD and her body buried at the abbey church at the convent of Saint John in Basto, Portugal. Many miraculous healings reported at her tomb, including that of the future King Alfonso II of Portugal.
