Saint’s Biography
Saint Valentine of Passau was first a monk secondly an abbot and thirdly a Missionary bishop in Rhaetia, Switzerland. Valentine later lived as a hermit near Mais, Austria.
Death
He died on January 7 475 at Mais, Tyrol, Austria of natural causes and his remains Re-interred at Trent, Italy in 739. They were later transferred to the Cathedral of Saint Stephen in Passau, Germany in 764
