Biography

Feast of the Epiphany is celebrated to manifest the glory of Christ. It originated in the 3rd century in the Eastern Church and soon spread to the west, where today it is specially designed for the apparition of the Magi. In England and many European countries, it is popularly known as Twelfth Night (after Christmas) and occasion for the revival of many traditional customs. In England, Scotland, and Ireland, the feast is sacred.
