Novena for Impossible Requests

Today is Saturday, September 28, 2024

This Novena for Impossible Requests starts on the Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord on March 25th, spanning the entire nine months of Mary’s pregnancy until December 25th.

It isn’t dubbed “impossible” due to the challenge of completing a nine-month novena but instead, it serves as a chance to entrust our impossible intentions to Our Lady, asking her to intercede on our behalf to her son our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is prayed once a month on the 25th of every month and honours & rejoices in the 9-month pregnancy of Our Lady.

Start

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope!
To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve;
to you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy towards us;
and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.

V – Pray for us, most holy mother of God.
R – That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Virgin of the Incarnation, a thousand times we greet you, a thousand times we praise you for your joy when God was incarnated in you. Because you are so powerful a Virgin and Mother of God, grant what we ask of you for the love of God.

  1. [Here state impossible intention Number 1]
  2. Repeat the prayers above then state your impossible intention Number 2;
  3. Repeat the prayers above then state your impossible intention Number 3;

After all the intentions have been requested, finish with these prayers:

Remember, O most Gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of Virgins, my mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Say the Hail Mary…

Blessed be the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar, in heaven, on earth, and everywhere. AMEN.
