Prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes: Be blessed, O Virgin Mary, for having revealed your shining life, sweetness and beauty, in the Grotto of Lourdes, saying to the young St Bernadette: ‘I am the Immaculate Conception.’

We congratulate you a thousand times upon your Immaculate Conception. And now, O ever Immaculate Virgin, Refuge of sinners, Mother of mercy, Comforter of the afflicted, Health of the sick, you know our wants, our sufferings, our troubles: Please grant us the kindness of bestowing upon us a look of mercy.

By appearing in the Grotto of Lourdes, you were pleased to make it a privileged sanctuary, from where you generously bestow your blessings, and already many have obtained the cure of their sickness, both spiritual and physical.

We come, therefore, with the most unbounded confidence to implore your maternal intercession. Obtain for us, O loving Mother, the granting of our request.

(state your special request)

Through gratitude for your favors, we will endeavor to imitate your virtues, that we may one day share your glory.

Prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes

Our Lady of Lourdes, Mother of Christ, you had influence with your Divine Son Jesus Christ while you were here on earth. I know that you have the same influence now in Heaven.

Pray for us, and obtain for us from your Divine Son our special requests if it is according to the Holy Divine Will. Amen.

Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us.

Saint Bernadette, pray for us.
