St Aetius Biography
St Aetius was a General. He together with his fellow Christian soldiers was captured by Caliph Montassem at Amorium, Syria in 836.
Here they spent nine years in prison with alternating periods of torture and lure to convert to Islam. Of which in every case they refused.
