Saint’s Biography
Saint Alexander of Constantinople was the first Bishop of Constantinople and fought Arianism and turned away the writings of Arius from entering his diocese. Assisted at the Council of Nice. St. Alexander served as bishop for about 23 years, until his death at 73 years of age.
