Saint Alexander of Constantinople was a soldier in the imperial Roman army. During the persecutions of Maximian, he switched places and attire with Saint Antonina of Constatinople after she had been condemned to live as a prostitute. He was martyred by being burnt alive alongside Saint Antonina after being discovered, tortured and their hands cut off. All these were happenings in the year 313 AD in Constatinople.

Saint Ethelwin of Lindsey lived as a monk in the 8th century at Ripon Abbey. He also lived as a Hermit on Farne Island for 12 years and was a friend of Saint Egbert.
He became a Bishop of Lindsey, England and later in life, he retired to religious life in Ireland
He the died in Ireland in the 8th century of natural causes and was laid to rest in Lidisfarne, England.

His relics were buried in the Dominican church of Santa Sabina, Rome.

Saint Philip of Zell
