Saint’s Biography
Saint Amantius was a member of the imperial Roman court and bishop of
Como, Italy. St. Amantius built the Basilica of Sant’Abbondio in Como. The basilica is associated with Saint Peter and Saint Paul, remains which Amantius had brought from Rome.
