Blessed Joan Font Taulat

Blessed Joan Font Taulat also known as Brother Arnal Ciril. He was born on July 1 1890 in Viladamat, Girona, Spain.

He was a member of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. He was martyred on January 23 1937 in Lleida, Spain during the Spanish Civil War. He was beatified on October 13 2013 by Pope Francis in Tarragona, Spain.

Saint Agathangelus

St Agathangelus was a Roman born and was martyred in 309 AD in Ancyra (in modern Turkey). He was an adult when he was converted to Christianity, and baptized by St Clement of Ancyra.

In addition, he was a deacon and evangelized in Ancyra (in modern Turkey) with St Clement, and was martyred with him. His relics were returned to Paris, France by Crusaders in the 13th century AD.

He was a confessor of the faith and was interred originally at Blythburgh, Suffolk, England. His relics are enshrined at Bury Saint Edmunds in 1095 AD.

Saint Clement of Ancyra

St Clement of Ancyra was the fourth-century bishop of Ancyra in Galatia, Asia Minor. He was martyred and died in 303 AD in the persecutions of Diocletian and Maximilian.

His relics were later taken to Constantinople and later crusaders later took the relics to Western Europe.

Saint Ormond of Mairé

St Ormond of Mairé, also known as Armand, was French-born and died in the 6th century.

He was a monk and also an abbot of the monastery of St Mairé in France, in 587 AD. He supported monastic expansion and evangelization in his region.

Saint Colman of Lismore

St Colman of Lismore died of natural causes in 702 AD. He was a monk under St Hierlug and also an abbot-bishop of the monastery at Lismore, Ireland in 698 AD.

During his leadership, Lismore’s fame for holiness and scholarship reached its peak.

Saint Amasius of Teano

St Amasius of Teano was a Greek born and died of natural causes in 356 AD. He was forced into exile in Italy for his opposition to the Arian heresy. Additionally, he was the bishop of Teano, Italy in 346 AD.
