Saint’s Biography
Saint Basil of Parion lived in the 7th century and was the bishop of Parion (717-40). He was elected bishop of the diocese of Parion, who honored him as a true shepherd of the flock of Christ. When the war broke out, he refused to sign and accept the astonishment of faith under the reign of Emperor Leo Isaureren in 754.
Death
He died in voluntary exile.
