Biography
St. Beatus was a monk at Saint Martin’s monastery in Liebana, Spain. He wrote and preached against the adoptionist heresy and strived to bring back his believers to Christianity.
When the Adoptionist heresy lost momentum, Beatus retired to the monastery of Valcavado to pray and write scripture commentaries and songs.
