Saint ‘s Biography

Saint Benedict Biscop was born as Benet Biscop in 628 AD in Northumbria, England. Benedict early life was spent at the court of King Oswy of Northumbria and held court offices. Benedict gave away everything he owned to follow Christ. In 666, Benedict, he became a monk at the monastery of Saint-Honorat. He stayed there for two years as a novice before going to Rome. Archbishop of Canterbury until 671.

Benedict died on January 12 690 of natural causes at Wearmouth, England and his relics are at Thorney abbey and Glastonbury, England.
