Saint’s Biography
Saint Denysa of Troas was a Christian girl who refused to sacrifice to pagan gods and was given to a prostitution ring to be raped into submission. She fought against her “customers” until she was exhausted.
Then her guardian angel appeared and startled the men away from her. The next morning, Denysa escaped from the house to the spot where a mob had dragged St. Andrew and St. Paul of Troas and began to proclaim her faith. Denysa was dragged away and executed by the Proconsul.
