Blessed Roger Wrenno, also known as Ruggero, was born in Chorley, Lancashire, England in 1576. He is remembered as one of the Martyrs of England, Scotland, and Wales, and has an additional Memorial on November 22nd.
Despite being a layman in the apostolic vicariate of England, he worked to convert Catholics during the persecutions of James I.
On March 16th, 1616, he died as a martyr in Lancaster, Lancashire, England. Pope John Paul II beatified him on November 22nd, 1987.
Saint Eucarpius of Nicomedia
St. Eucarpius of Nicomedia served as a pagan soldier in the imperial Roman army and was stationed in Nicomedia, Turkey during the persecutions of Diocletian.
His task was to hunt Christians, but upon getting to know them and their faith, he underwent a conversion. However, he was martyred for his beliefs in 304 at Nicomedia, where he was burned alive.

Martyrs of Nicomedia
The Martyrs of Nicomedia are remembered on March 19th as a group of anonymous Christians who were martyred, either individually or in small groups, by local pagans in the Nicomedia area before the year 300 AD.
It’s possible that they were overlooked in the larger waves of persecutions under Diocletian, which resulted in the deaths of thousands of Christians.
Saint Leobard of Tours
St. Leobard of Tours, also known as Leopardo, Leobardo, Leobardus, or Liberd, was a spiritual disciple of St. Gregory of Tours.
He lived as a hermit for more than 20 years near Marmoutier, France. He died of natural causes in the year 593 AD.
