Saint’s Biography
Saint Forannan was a priest then bishop of Domhnach-Mor, Ireland, a diocese that no longer exists. He emigrated to Belgium and helped established Waulsort Abbey and became a monk there. Abbot in 962, establishing it as a Benedictine house. He died in 982 of natural causes.
