St Francoveus, also known as Franchy was a monk at Saint Martin de la Bretonnière (modern Sainte Maire, Nièvre), France. He was born in the 7th century AD and died in Nivernais region near Nevers, France. We celebrate his feast day on May 16 every year in the Catholic Church.
