Biography
St. George of Lodève was a Benedictine monk at Saint-Foi-de-Conques. When the monastery was destroyed in 862 AD by Norsemen, he fled to Vabres in the diocese of Rodez, France. Later in the years, he was elected the Bishop of Lodeve in France.
