St. Isidore of Pelusium Biography
St. Isidore of Pelusium grew from Hermit to a monk, Abbot to a priest. He tried to live the life of John the Baptist while he was in his desert monastic life. He wrote over 10,000 known letters of which more than 2,000 have survived to date.
