Saint’s Biography
Saint James of Tarentaise was a soldier in the imperial Persian army. He converted to Christianity and later became a monk. James became a spiritual disciple of Saint Honoratus in Lérins in France. Missionary to the Savoy region. He was elected as the first bishop of Moûtiers, France, in 426. Known as a miracle worker.
