St Kieran was born in the late 5th Century AD. He later then Converts to Christianity. He also becomes a Pilgrim to Rome, Italy. Kieran was ordained as a priest by Saint Patrick. He was the first Bishop of Ossory, Ireland and also the founder of Saighir monastery. He is sometimes confused with Saint Piran of Cornwall. Several healing wells were named for Kieran
