Biography
Saint Longinus of Rome was among three soldiers that escorted saint Paul the Apostle to his execution. All three were martyred together with Saint Paul. When the three Romans, saw Paul’s execution, they were horrified. They declared their faith before the watching crowd and were quickly beheaded.
