Saint’s Biography
Saint Matrona of Ancyra was a nun who was killed for Christ’s sake in the persecutions of Diocletian. She was drowned with a stone tied around her neck in 304 AD in Turkey. Saint Theodatus of Ancyra conducted her funeral.
