Biography
St. Milburga who was also known as Milburge was the daughter of Merewalh the King of Mercia and Saint Ermenburga. She was the sister to Saint Mildred and Saint Mildgytha. SHe was given her vows by Archbishop Saint Theodore and became a Benedictine nun.
Milburg founded Much Wenlock Abbey in Shropshire in England and became the abbess. She was known to be a miracle worker and had a mysterious power over birds.
