Saint Chrysolius of Armenia

St Chrysolius of Armenia was born in Armenia and died in Flanders, Belgium. Chrysolius fled Armenia to north-east France in order to escape the persecutions of Diocletian.

There he became an evangelist in the area of Flanders, Belgium, then bishop, and then martyr. His relics were enshrined in Bruges, Beglium.

Blessed Anthony of Stroncone

Blessed Anthony of Stroncone, also known as Antonio de Stronconio, was born in 1391 AD and died of natural cause in 1461 AD.

He was a Franciscan lay brother from the age of 12 and fought the Fraticelli heresy. He was beatified on June 28 1687 by Pope Innocent XI (cultus confirmed).

Saint Maximus of Nola

St Maximus of Nola was a bishop of Nola, Italy. He worked with St Felix of Nola, and with him was saved by the work of a spider and also worked against the persecutions of Decius, and to save his tormented parishioners.

The effort wore him out and sent him to an early grave on 250 AD of natural cause. His representation was with grapes growing on brambles and ordaining St Felix of Nola.

Saint Vedastus of Vercelli

St Vedastus of Vercelli died of natural cause in 578 AD. He was a bishop of Vercelli, Italy and was sacked by the Bavari, and was key to the material and spiritual recovery of the people. He was buried in the cathedral of Sant’Eusebio in Vercelli, Italy.

Saint Adaucus of Phrygia

St Adaucus of Phrygia, also known as Adauctus, was an Italian born to nobility and was burned to death in 303 AD in Phrygia.

He was a friend and court favourite of Roman Emperor Diocletian who repeatedly honoured and rewarded him until he learned that Adaucus was a Christian.

He then had Adaucus and a number of fellow Christians executed as a martyr.

Saint Parthenius of Lampsacus

St Parthenius of Lampsacus, also known as Partenius was a fourth-century bishop of Lampsacus in the Hellespont region of modern Turkey.

He was known for his preaching, evangelizing and his great example of Christian life that led many to the faith.

Saint Fidelis of Merida

St Fidelis of Merida died of natural cause in 570 AD. He was an originally from the East, he travelled to Merida, Spain with a group of merchants, settled there, trained with the bishop of the city, and then succeeded him.

Saint Meldon of Péronne

St Meldon of Péronne, also known as Medon, was born in Ireland and died in Péronne, France. He was a sixth-century hermit in France.

St Amulwinus of Lobbes was a bishop of Lobbes, Belgium in 737 AD and later died in 750 AD.

St Augulus was a also known as Amm, Augurius, Augustus, Aule or Ouil. He was a bishop and a martyr and later died in 303 AD.

St Anatolius of Cahors was a bishop of Cahors, France.
