Saint Hilary of Aquileia
St. Hilary of Aquileia, who served as a bishop in Aquileia, Italy, was referred to by various names including Elaro, Ellaro, Hilarius, or Ilario. It is said that his prayers had the power to bring down pagan temples and idols.
He met a tragic end as he was martyred during the persecutions of Roman Emperor Numerian, following an order from the prefect Beronius.
He endured torture and died on March 16, 284 AD. St. Hilary of Aquileia is honoured as the patron saint of Gorizia, Italy.

Blessed Ferdinand Valdes, who was a Mercedarian friar, served as a priest and later as the bishop of Lugo in Spain. Additionally, he served as the royal chaplain to the court of Castile.
He died at the St. Catherine monastery in Toledo, Spain. Remarkably, his body was discovered to be incorrupt even after 300 years. As a result, he is considered blessed.

He was killed on March 16th, 1937 in Montcada, Barcelona, Spain. Pope Francis acknowledged his holiness by venerating him on December 21st, 2016, and he is now recognized as Blessed Joan Torrents Figueras.
