St Cyril of Rome was a bystander who witnessed the torture and mutilation of Saint Anastasia the Elder.
He gave Anastasia some waster when she begged for some and as a consequence, he was caught, executed, and died as a martyr in 253 AD in Rome, Italy.

St Remigius of Lyons was a Chaplain in the court of King Charles the Bald. Later on in 852 AD, he became the Archbishop of Lyons, France.
He fought heresy but conversely, fought against the harsh treatment of heretics. In 875 AD, died of natural causes.
