Biography
St. Papias of Hierapolis was a Second century Apostolic Priest. He was a friend to St. Polycarp of Smyrna. Later, he became the bishop of Hierapolis in Turkey. Papias was the author of lengthy commentaries on the life, teaching, and working of Jesus.
