Biography
Saint Scariberga of Yvelines, destined to the Gallic honorability; niece of King Clovis I. Given in an arranged marriage to St. Arnulf of Tours; they lived as sibling and sister, and when he progressed toward becoming bishop, she turned into a nun. Bereaved when Arnulf was martyred, she bult a hermit’s cell over his tomb in the Yvelines woodland among Paris and Chartres, France, and lived in it the rest of her life. The town of St-Arnoult-en-Yvelines, France grew up around the tomb and cell.
