St Serapion of Pentapolis Biography
St Serapion of Pentapolis was a Deacon at Pentapolis, Lybia. Serapion was tortured and his tongue cut out. They then left him for dead because of his faith, but he survived and died years later of natural causes.
However, because they were willing to die, and because there were attempts to kill them, they are considered martyrs.
