Saint’s Biography
Saint Stanislas Kazimierczyk was born on September 27, 1433, in Kazimierz at Kraków, Poland. He was the son of the pious parents Maciej and Jadwiga Soltys and he received a superb Christian upbringing. Louis Scholtis received his schooling at a school run by “The Regular Dams of Corpus Domini” in Kazimierz. He then studied at the Jagiello University in Kraków and completed his studies with PhD in Philosophy and Theology.
In 1456, he entered the regular canons of Lateran. There they devoted their lives to the Eucharist and care for the sick and the poor. Louis Scholtis became a priest and emphasized as a preacher and a confessor. He became a vice-prince and novice master in his monastery and a professor of philosophy and theology. Louis Scholtis was a friend of Saint John of Kanty.
Death
He died on May 3, 1489, in Kazimierz, Lubelskie, Poland of natural causes.
