Blessed Jacques Netsetov was born in Alaska to a Russian father and an Aleut mother.
He studied at the seminary in Irkutsk, Russia, and became a priest. He became a missionary to the indigenous people on the Aleutian Islands, where he travelled by kayak and dogsled. Time after time he had to deal with the opposition of native shamans.
He translated the New Testament into the Youpik language. He died in 1865 AD.

He was a spiritual director who was much sought by many because of his wisdom, piety, and deep prayer life.
Saint Simeon of Padolirone
St Simeon of Padolirone was an Armenian hermit and a miracle worker. He was a Pilgrim to various destinations including Jerusalem, Rome, Italy, Compostella, Spain, and Tours, France.
He was a monk at Padolirone Abbey near Padua, Italy, and died in 1016 AD.
Blessed Évangéliste of Verona
Blessed Évangéliste of Verona was also known as Evangelist. He was born in Verona, Italy in the 13th century.
He was an Augustinian hermit in the area of Verona, Italy. Later he became a priest. He died of natural causes in 1250 AD.
In 1837, he was beatified by Pope Gregory XVI through a cultus confirmation.

Blessed George Swallowell
Blessed George Swallowell was born in Shadforth, Durham, England. He was a Layman schoolmaster and Protestant minister.
He converted to Catholicism and this led to his execution on July 26 1594, at Darlington, England. He died as a martyr.
On December 15 1929, he was beatified by Pope Pius XI.
