Saint Theogenes of Cyzicus was a priest then bishop of Parios, Asia Minor. He later joined the imperial Roman army during the reign of Emperor Licinius. St. Theogenes refused to sacrifice to idols and arrested.
They imprisoned him without food for 40 days; St. Theogenes prayed for and converted some soldiers and survived the sentence. Tortured and executed. Martyr. He was drowned in 320 at Cyzicus on the Hellespont.
