St Trophimus of Nicomedia Biography
St Trophimus of Nicomedia was born in the 3rd century. He was a pagan soldier in the imperial Roman army and stationed in Nicomedia (in modern Turkey). St Trophimus was given authority to hunting Christians during the persecutions of Diocletian, he came to know them and the faith so well that he converted. He was later then Martyred.
