Saint’s Biography
Saint Venusto and companions were killed in 250 AD in Carthage. St. Cyprian of Carthage wrote about St. Venusto and his seventeen named companions, all victims of the Decius persecution in Africa.
Death
He was starved to death in 250 AD in prison in Carthage, North Africa (modern Tunis, Tunisia).
